LOVE IN IT'S TRUEST FORM

True love is subjective to many people. It is considered as the agape love; a love without conditions attached to it. People have different meanings for true love and as such, show it in the manner they perceive it. In our modern world, many people have misinterpreted the meaning of true love in a way that even when it is shown; it looks offensive to them because they lack the understanding of it. I do not understand why people will think that two girls, who are best of friends, are so close to each other and showing love for each other are lesbians. When two girls hold each other on the road, or go to an eatery together, it is considered as absurd. Or when two guys hug each other, they are considered gay. I do not know what could be wrong with all that. One of my friends who is a guy, wanted to hug another guy goodbye before going home. The other guy refused, saying he does not hug guys, that he only shakes them.
True love comes from the heart and for us to show it, it has to be a part of us so that we do not show it out of pretense. It gives without expecting; it corrects without regrets; it tolerates a lot of things because it is patient and kind. This attribute makes it not to be jealous because the person will wait the right time. Love sees no need to brag, be arrogant or rude to others. True love for others makes it not to seek for its own advantage and get irritated by others neither does it keep grudges. True love likes justice and truth. True love puts up with all things, trusts in all things, hopes for all things, endures all things. It does not depend on gender; everyone deserves it.
Someone can say "I love you" to another person, but the motive behind it is not love. There are conditions attached it. What happens when a guy tells a girl "I love you" and the girl refused to have sex with the guy when the opportunity comes? Will the guy still continue to love and be faithful to her as he professes? Most times love and friendship is re-kindled when there are favors attached to it. Hey girl, the money you are asking your guy to give you, what if he does not have it, or he is broke; will you leave him? True love comes with tests to prove the worth of it. It is not about the words otherwise it makes no meaning.
