The human mind is very complicated and vast; that is why it takes a
"renewal" for it to be fashioned into God's directions. You can only
grow in Christ, if you choose to. No matter how much Christian books or
preaching your pastor gives you, if you don't have that personal encounter,
willingness and understanding of God's purpose for you, you will never grow.
That is why even an unbeliever can talk about God, Prayers, Bible and still
remain the same because it makes no meaning to him.
We should always involve
God in everything we do. We have to learn to talk to Him about everything, I
mean everything. It is not just about talking to him formally like saying
“father I thank you, guide and keep me, keep my family and loved ones, keep my
ministry and so on". We have to involve him in every little detail 
of our lives. of our lives. He wants to know what you will wear, what you will
eat, where you want to go, what you want to do, your plans and ambitions, your
dreams; even that girl or guy you admire so much and you don't know what to do,
He wants you to tell him. That is how personal He wants to get with you. He
wants you to tell him about the heartbreak from the relationship you are going
through, even to your most personal stuffs, secrets and addictions that you
don't tell anyone. It is not just about speaking the best English in prayers or speaking in tongues. Because whether we like it or not, he made
us, he loves us and there is nothing we can do about it. So we cannot hide
anything from him. The bible says we should come into his presence with all
boldness.
